Faune - Vintage Nightwear
Faune was created by Nicola and Delia, childhood friends that have not only shared a life-long friendship but also a long love affair with fashion and all things vintage.
Their collections are designed in London, by Nicola. A womenswear designer for more than 20 years she brings to life designs that are not only pretty; embodying their signature vintage style, but functional and comfortable too. Light and airy silhouettes that are so cleverly crafted they work as night-to-day transitional pieces.
Welcome Kalinka
We are delighted to welcome Kalinka to the Junior Edition family for the AW23 season. A brand that embodies everything there is to love about the cooler weather - gorgeous knitwear that is handcrafted with love, in Bulgaria.
Their classic designs have enduring appeal, these are pieces that will no doubt be passed down to second and even third owners to be loved again and again and again. Their style is nostalgic and distinctive and the pieces as practical and comfortable as they are beautiful.
Fairtrade Felt Decorations for Halloween
If you've popped into our beautiful Brighton store in the last couple of weeks you'll have no doubt noticed we've had a bit of seasonal makeover, embracing all things Autumn and celebrating what has to be my favourite festival of the year, Halloween.
A tradition whose origins trace back to an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain when bonfires were lit and costumes worn to ward off the threat of ghosts, the modern day Halloween provides a great excuse to decorate the house, celebrate all things spooky and of course eat at least half of the sweets the kids have collected out trick or treating!
Mabli AW23
Mabli is a family-run brand based in Wales, specialising in natural knitwear for children, as well as an ever-growing offering for adults too.
Launched back in October 2016 (and stocked here at Junior Edition since AW18) Welsh designer Lisa Roberts is an experienced women's knitwear designer who often had envisaged her designs in miniature. Her passion for childrenswear design had always been strong, even before becoming a mother, and once Lisa started a family and returned to her roots in Wales Mabli was born.
Apolina AW23
Every Apolina collection stems from designer Caroline Duckett's love of modern craft and the desire to create a line of nostalgic but exciting pieces that can be cherished and passed on. The AW23 collection continues Apolina's love of hand techniques, showcasing new embroideries, crochet finishes and intricate smocking.

Little Cottons Clothes are back with a wonderfully whimsical collection for the Spring/Summer season. Think vintage inspired floral dresses and rompers, seersucker gingham shorts and dungarees, tulle trimmed tutus and broderie anglaise layered blouses inspired by nature and carefree Summer days.

Welcome Maison Tadaboum!
We are delighted to welcome Maison Tadaboum to Junior Edition this season. We are always on the look out for fresh new things to bring you and love the fabulous collection that French brand Maison Tadaboum have created for this Spring/Summer Season.
'Bistrot Tadaboum', as the name suggests, is a nod to that quintessentially Parisian past-time of eating, drinking (and of course people watching) from the cafes and bars that line the streets of Paris.
Decorating an Easter Tree
Easter egg trees are becoming increasingly fashionable - who doesn't love an excuse to decorate?! - but they actually have been around for centuries. The Ostereierbaum is the German tradition of decorating a tree or shrub with hanging Easter eggs, and can be indoors or outside. We created one for our store with willow branches and our FairTrade hand felted ornaments from Amica Felt and Felt So Good. It's a lovely - and easy - family activity to celebrate the holiday and the start of Spring.

The Spring/Summer 2023 collection from The Animals Observatory has not long landed with us here at Junior Edition, close to fifty fresh new styles for babies and children all the way to 14 years of age.
Creative Director and Designer, Laila Aguilar pours a lot of herself into this new collection, it's a personal reflection on a perfect day, one filled with love and with family.
