Bobo Choses: A Folk Song

Like many, I find the Winter months after Christmas hard, so the arrival of our SS24 collections is just the lift we all need to banish those Winter blues. First up, the mighty Bobo Choses, injecting a much needed splash of colour and a whole heap of sunshine into an otherwise grey day.

“A Folk Song” launches here at Junior Edition next week and we are so excited to share some of our personal highlights from the collection with you. A tribute to folkloric traditions, the collection is inspired by folk festivals where children and adults gather in the streets among musicians, storytellers, dancers and creatures.

Whilst it might prove to be a tricky thing for adults to get to grips with this is definitely not the case for children who have their own way of relating to it. I was never not going to write about this collaboration, E.T has been my favourite film forever, I have watched it scores and scores of times, I have a whole box of ET themed merch in tucked away in my loft and a giant stuffed toy in my room, I cried when I rode on the ride at Universal Studios in Florida. You get the picture, OBSESSED.

Keeping this collection a secret was harder for me than the first 3 months of pregnancy, I have basically been almost self-combusting with excitement in the months since it was first announced and it is such a relief to finally be able to shout it from the rooftops - ET PHONE MINI RODINI HAS ARRIVED!!!
