Marsou - Parisian Upcycled and Recycled Fashion

Marsou - Parisian Upcycled and Recycled Fashion

New for this Spring/Summer season is Paris based French brand Marsou. Founded back in 2016 by Laetitia Flandre after 5 years of working for luxury fashion house Chanel, Laetitia combines the beauty of high end fashion with sound environmental credentials. Marsou is clothing that cares for the planet and we are thrilled to add them to our growing portfolio of beautiful, sustainable brands.

Marsou creations are designed, hand-dyed and handmade in Paris using a combination of up-cycled fabric leftovers that are sourced from luxury French fashion houses together with organic certified and eco friendly fabrics free from chemicals that might harm both the body and the Earth.

Poudre Organic: Para Sempre

Poudre Organic: Para Sempre

Poudre Organic is the brainchild of Manon and Quentin who, having struggled to find affordable ecological and natural clothing for their third child, started to make a range of simple, practical and beautiful clothing for their daughters. Inspired by fabrics such as organic cotton muslin gauze and traditional, vintage styling this evolved into a much admired collection of clothing that other people both loved and wanted too and so in 2014, Poudre Organic was born.

As the name itself suggests, everything in the collection is organic and the clothing itself is ethically made in Portugal using only the softest organic cottons that are GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified as well as other low energy materials such as linen. Their designs are lovingly put together in small scale surroundings where the name of every seamstress is known to Manon and Quentin.

Wynken: Disco Safari

Wynken: Disco Safari

If there was an award for best collection name of the season I feel sure that Wynken would be claiming first place with the fabulous Disco Safari!

Inspired by the song lyrics of French electro band Yella, Wynken has created a collection of warm and earthy tones with burnt orange, red earth and lion stripe combined with purple haze and hot blush pink and red. Whilst this season's prints are inspired by 70’s disco club flyers, African wax prints and animals of the savannah. Dream theme!!

All Aboard! Mini Rodini on the Trans-Siberian Railway

All Aboard! Mini Rodini on the Trans-Siberian Railway

Mini Rodini are a firm favourite here at Junior Edition - they are one of our longest standing brands and like you, we love their quirky and colourful prints, the quality (their clothing washes and wears SO well) and most importantly of all, that everything is manufactured with care for animals, people and the planet.

Their latest collection is an absolute corker and draws its inspiration from the slow and romantic journey by train across the continent on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Prints and styles represent a number of different stops en route that include Stockholm, Moscow, Ulan Bator, Beijing and Seoul.

Long Live The Queen

Long Live The Queen

Long Live The Queen really is one of my favourite collections of the season. Hailing from Amsterdam in the Netherlands (also one of my favourite places, I very nearly moved there in my early thirties), Long Live The Queen's mission is to create beautiful fashion for girls that is responsibly produced  - they combine recycled materials with organic jerseys and soft knits to create easy-to-wear but super stylish clothing which we are delighted to now stock all the way up to 12 years of age.
Bobo Choses: For President

Bobo Choses: For President

Bobo Choses is our first Spring/Summer collection of the year and WOW! What a way to start... For President is everything we love about Bobo - soft naturals meet beautiful bolds and quirky, colourful prints abound.

Ear-to-ear smiles, friendly pet lions, funny pepper presidential candidates, big tomatoes and smiley-fingered hands  - this collection is SO much fun and one the kids are guaranteed to enjoy wearing.

Maed for Mini: Easy Like Sunday Morning

Maed for Mini: Easy Like Sunday Morning

Maed For Mini is an Amsterdam based conscious unisex kids clothing brand that we are delighted to now stock up to 10 years. It's one of those collections that I always want in me size and this season is no exception, their mature colour palettes combined with a sophisticated twist on animal prints get me every single time!

AW20, Easy Like Sunday Morning is inspired by those lazy Sunday moments you want to cherish forever - the patter of little feet entering the bedroom before sunrise, hot coffee and breakfast in bed and all the time in the world to read them their favourite books. The simple things in life that bring so much joy.

Wynken: Fiesta Forever

Wynken: Fiesta Forever

Wynken is the most beautiful fashion brand from London, creating childrenswear that we stock from 6 months all the way up to 12 years. Clothing that parents love to buy and children love to wear!

Fiesta Forever is a gloriously rich collection, muted tones combine with colours that pop! There are textured fabrics, beautifully bold prints, soft velour and faux fur jerseys and chunky alpaca knits. The Animals Observatory AW20 - A Love Story with Pop Iconography

The Animals Observatory AW20 - A Love Story with Pop Iconography

The first instalment of the (quite frankly AMAZING) AW20 collection from The Animals Observatory dropped on July 21st at the slightly un-godly hour of 6am CET (thats 5am UK time folks, 5am!) so armed with lots of strong coffee and slightly bleary-eyed we hit the launch button and waited for lift-off!

Launch days are always a slightly apprehensive affair, will you love it as much as we do, did we plump for the pieces you are going to love? The answer was a resounding YES and we were thrilled to read all of your positive feedback and see several pieces and sizes sell out in those first couple of days. When you get all the feels, we get the all the feels too so thank you!
