Meadows: Romantic and Feminine Womenswear

For those of you not yet familiar with Meadows, it is the sister brand to LF Markey whose bold, bright, minimalist workwear styles we have been stocking for 3 seasons now. By contrast, Meadows has more vintagey roots, it is both romantic and feminine, inspired by Victoriana, prarie-style and folklore.
Louise Markey designs in Hackney, East London and uses boutique-sized factories to produce the collection. The brand is committed to making clothes in a safe and ethical environment and embodies innovative cuts, colours and fabrics that are not only produced ethically but that encourage slow, sustainable fashion. These are styles that have the potential to last you a lifetime, pieces that you will reach for year, after year, after year.
To date, 90% of the cotton used is organic and all of the wool yarn for knitted products is sourced exclusively from suppliers who adhere to the Responsible Wool Standard. They are also exploring the use of plant dyes for future collections and are currently in the process of moving their products into Global Organic Textile Standard certified organic textiles, hoping to have achieved this during the course of 2022.
The Spring/Summer season has some truly stand-out pieces, the Sampler range, which features the most stunning embroidery detail is nothing short of incredible - choose from a dress, skirt, shirt and top in a perfect-for-summer, light beige linen.
Amongst the most beautiful selection of dresses and blouses, you'll find jeans and sweaters too. We have selected 16 pieces in total, spanning UK dress sizes 8 to 14 (jeans sized 26 to 30).
