Merrythought

Merrythought is a fourth generation family business founded by Mr. W. G. Holmes as a diversification from his mohair mill in Yorkshire.  The company has handmade traditional teddy bears since 1930, and every Merrythought bear is lovingly made by hand in the Merrythought factory in the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge in Shropshire, giving them a unique character and superior quality that can last a lifetime.  Merrythought is famous for crafting the finest, jointed, mohair teddy bears adored by children and adults across the world.  It is the last remaining British teddy bear factory to still make its products in Britain.
