Brooklyn based Soor Ploom return with their second drop of the season, the eagerly awaited Sweater collection.

If you're not already familiar with Soor Ploom they are a really special brand who "strive to cultivate an appreciation for quality over quantity, to live in a world where less is more and to teach our children that slow fashion is a more sustainable choice."

Ethically and sustainably produced using 100% natural materials, their knitwear collection is made in Peru. These are pieces so beautiful and so well made that they are intended to be worn and then passed down and loved all over again.

Drop 1, the Wovens collection, launched the early part of September and consisted of 30 pieces from denim jeans and pinafores, to pretty printed skirts and blouses and now, just as those extra layers and cosy knits are needed, we are delighted to give you a first look at our knitwear selection, comprising of 14 of the very loveliest things.

Every piece in Soor Ploom's Worldwide Sweater Collection will be available to purchase here at Junior Edition when it launches, the range was just too special to consider excluding anything! You'll be able to choose from 6 styles (the Beatrice Cardigan, Iva Skirt, Margo Vest, Marlo Pullover, Matilda Dress and Wilma Pullover) in 5 colours ( Bergamot, Linen, Soot, Spice and Sugar Plum).

Fan favourite, the Beatrice Cardigan is back in the most beautiful Bergamot and a stunning Soot. A chunky knit cardigan in a luxurious plush roving yarn with ribbed yoke and natural horn buttons on the front placket. This is one of those pieces you'll be reaching for time after time, a wardrobe essential for AW24 and an easy extra layer for cooler days.

Made from 100% Merino Wool, the Iva Skirt is the perfect layering mini skirt with stretch rib waistband in a double rib stitch. Really easy-to-wear and super comfortable, this looks great with tights or over leggings and will be available in both Sugar Plum and Soot.

The Margot Vest is available in 4 fabulous colours - Bergamot, Linen, Soot and Spice and I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest you might want more than one of these this season!  A slouchy fit, chunky knit vest in that luxurious plush roving yarn, this is layering heaven and works with a multitude of the beautiful blouses and dresses from the wovens collection as well as the essentials pieces that are also due with us in the next couple of weeks.

The Marlo Pullover also returns, in this season's Linen and Spice. I love a chunky knit and this sweater is perfection. It works beautifully with just about everything! l love it with the denims, whether that be shorts (with tights), jeans or skirts and it also looks fab under the Tillie Overalls and Eloise Pinafore from the first drop.

The Matilda Dress is EVERYTHING - we are expecting a lot of love for this style, which will be available in either Soot or Spice. A twirly knit pinafore in two ply folklore stitch jacquard it has natural horn buttons at the shoulder and chunky rib finishing. Another style that works equally well with blouses from the wovens drop or the essentials tops that will be launching imminently.

And last, but by no means least the Wilma Pullover is back in the same folklore stitch jacquard seen on the Matilda dresses. A warm and comfy pullover sweater that has a gathered shoulder, with a triple horn button closure. Wear with anything and everything when a warm layer is needed!

Whilst we don't have a launch date for you just yet, we anticipate being able to share that with you in the coming days. Make sure you stay tuned to our socials where all new news is first shared and, in the meantime, enjoy outfit planning!
