We're delighted to share the new collection from Pèpè shoes. Handcrafted in Italy using traditional artisanal skills and techniques, the shapes are iconic and refined in butter-soft leathers, a benchmark of Italian craftsmanship. Only a limited quantity are made to order each season, with many colours and leathers exclusive to us at Junior Edition.
Truly a traditional family-run business, the original concept of Pèpè goes way back to 1966 when its founder Erideno Pizzetti trademarked the brand. In the eighties his son Dario joined the company and began supporting his father producing shoes on site in Italy and broadening the design range. Towards the late nineties, Dario’s wife Paola joined the company and developed the idea of seasonal collections. The current identity of Pèpè, hand-made children’s footwear, began to take shape.
New this season we have the signature Pèpè shapes in new colours and trims. The Matt Sheepskin Bootie in Black is a unique and cosy update on a classic design.
The Matt Bootie is also available in black and dark brown. These soft leather boots have a flat rubber sole and zip up front.
The Charles Ankle Boot is a taller style with a leather lining and crepe sole. Featuring a side zip for easy dressing.
The Tate Ankle Boots in buttery soft black leather have a cosy sheepskin lining.
The Dani Lace up shoes are available in black and coffee brown suede, and their crepe sole makes them practical for every day wear. The soft leather tops ensure they are comfortable and stylish. The Dani shoe comes in two styles; with or without tassels on the laces.
Possibly saving the best until last we have the Darlyn Leather Ballet Slipper, back for 2024 in new colours. This classic style features a soft rubber sole and elastic strap. Made from the highest quality leather, these sweet ballet style shoes go with every outfit.
