Nellie Quats: Liberty and Linen

Nellie Quats is the most beautiful childrenswear brand for girls, from baby up to 10 years. Designed in London and made in Portugal the collection is made up of pieces that are both comfortable and stylish with a splash of nostalgia. The Marbles dress is one of their most popular designs and the Hay Plaid always so popular at launch! It really is the prettiest oversized style in beautifully soft linen with short puffed sleeves and a gathered skirt that sits above the knee. The cut allows plenty of movement which lends itself well both to active play and keeping cool on hot summer days. 

Blouse and Trouser styles come in the shape of the Duck Duck Goose Blouse and Jumping Jack Trousers. The loose fit, raglan sleeve blouse is available in a soft Clay Linen with a dusty terracotta tone and hints of earthy pink as well as the Joanne Louise Liberty Print. There's something about checks isn't there? My own wardrobe is full of them and Nellie Quats have some beautiful pieces this season spanning several styles. I think the Marlow pinafore dress made from a soft, rose check linen might just edge in as my favourite. A simple pinafore dress that lends itself well to layering on cooler days and colder months.

The short sleeved, oversized Hopscotch dress is also rather pretty and comes in both the Pistachio and Rose Check Linen, I'm totally torn between the two colours on this beauty, if it were for me I'd probably buy both (totally guilty of having same style dresses in multiple colours at home!)

For the smallest ones, rompers come in two styles. The Marbles romper is a full style - super comfortable and with lots of room for movement whilst the Jump Rope Romper (below) is bib fronted with an elasticated waist and full bloomers.
