The Animals Observatory was created by Leia Aguilar, former creative director of Bobo Choses, and business partner Jan Andreu in 2016 as a creative timeless fashion brand for children.
Taking inspiration from art, architecture and design in its broadest sense, the brand has a unique and creative yet completely wearable style, delighting children and adults alike with its playful aesthetics based on the philosophy central to the brand, to be a good animal, true to your instincts.
As with the stylistic variations of baroque piano, Laia Aguilar always finds inspiration in certain recurring themes, such as vintage clothing, typography, the work of certain painters, architects and interior designers, in order to create her collections, nurturing enriching dialogues between one collection and another, whilst introducing new worlds and visions.
