Mabli was launched in October 2016 by Welsh designer Lisa Roberts, an experienced women's knitwear designer who often had envisaged her designs in miniature. Her passion for childrenswear design had always been strong, even before becoming a mother, and once Lisa started a family and returned to her roots in Wales Mabli was created. Now Lisa has a daughter, Mabel, and son, Otto, as the inspiration behind her designs.
Lisa's design are vintage inspired knitwear in beautifully soft 100% extrafine merino wool. The perfect choice for little ones, merino wool is hypoallergenic, helps to regulate body temperature and repels moisture. It's very soft against the skin and machine-washable, as well as being a sustainable fibre. It has the perfect mix of practicality and luxury. More recently she has added organic pima cotton and linen knits to the collections, including cotton socks inspired by Welsh tapestry blankets.
Mabli socks are made in Wales, and the garments across Europe. All their manufacturers and suppliers have ethical working practices, and a use high quality materials and manufacturing processes.
