Fairechild founder and designer Tabitha Osler is an advocate for getting outside. An ambassador for puddle jumping, if you will. Tabitha is an experienced luxury women's designer, and also a mother who knows that we all want the best for our children. This includes a world with bounties of food, natural resources and access to clean water.
With all this in mind Tabitha created Fairechild. She felt that there is urgent change needed in the fashion industry, and wanted to help other parents and kids be able to play, explore and fall in love with their natural world. Her inspiration for facilitating outdoor play comes from early Forest Schools in Canada, such as High Park Forest School in Toronto. This inspiration in combination with that from the cradle-to-cradle design philosophy which encourages us to view waste as a resource, is it at the core of everything Fairechild is and does. Tabitha has designed waterproof garments that allow children to be outdoors - everyday, all day, whatever the weather – in the most transparent way possible so you can be confident that your Fairechild rain wear is kind to kids, parents and the planet.
