Flexible, supple and soft to the touch, the material evoked a unique design to her, with graceful curves, gentle, poetic roundness, in tribute to the natural curves of maternity. Surrounding herself with a team of industrial partners and experts committed to the same rigorous approach, Allison tested dozens of prototypes before achieving a superlative end result. From the absolute purity of the material, its innovative design, its irreproachable ergonomic finish and its practicality, nothing escaped this young mother’s uncompromising eye.

Eager to build an ethical and aesthetic universe tailored to her three small children, Allison Piraud, founder of the Élhée brand, naturally began by rethinking the baby bottle, with a desire to develop the emotional and sensory dimension of this very first object of affection. If, like many women, she alternated breast and bottle-feeding during her maternity leave, while travelling for work, and with her alternating work hours, innovating its material seemed absolutely evident to her from the very first feeding sessions with her first-born baby. For this highly symbolic object of parenting, this new mother became extremely interested in materials traditionally used within the industry. Exasperated by the easily broken glass of baby bottles, and sceptical about the alleged harmlessness of new plastic materials, Allison opted for the latest generation of medical-grade silicone which, in addition to ensuring the absolute safety of babies and infants, is also a uniquely creative material.
