Amy & Ivor

Amy & Ivor is a small family run business established in 2013 and run by Alice Hedley, a mum with a desire to make beautiful top quality soft footwear for her children.  Unable to find any stylish soft structure footwear for her two young daughters, and with a professional background working creatively in luxury fashion, Alice set about designing and making some simple elasticated moccasins out of a piece of red leather she had to hand in her studio at home.  The results were so lovely and practical, and received so many admiring comments and requests to know where their shoes were from that the idea for Amy & Ivor was born.

Picked up by The Green Parent magazine as their Best Barefoot Shoes for Children in Dec 2013, and having received Milk Magazine's Best Footwear award for their SS15 collection presented at Playtime Paris, Amy & Ivor has gained recognition as the best and most stylish footwear choice for small people.

With an ethical and environmentally conscious mindset, Amy & Ivor strive to source the best quality and most eco friendly and safest materials to use in their shoes.  The soft structure and breathable leather footwear is kind to developing feet and allows the child to feel the floor beneath them, experiencing natural freedom and learning more about their own balance and movement, by being less restricted.
